This wonderful choice to follow Jesus has many beautiful impacts on the rest of your life. You've chosen life, and abundance awaits on your horizon. Grab hold of it with both hands!
If you have accepted the invitation from God Himself to receive Jesus as your Savior, whether it’s for the first time or a return to Him, it marks a new life and a new beginning. The greatest miracle anyone can receive is when their soul is saved from the eternal fires of Hell. It's the most awesome day in your life.
Did you know that even the angels celebrate the very moment a soul returns to Jesus? (See Luke 15:10)
Father God is smiling in heaven, welcoming you with open arms!
The moment you believed that Jesus is the Son of God and accepted Him as your Lord and Savior (John 1:12), you were reborn as a child of the living God.
This transformation is a spiritual rebirth, brought about by the Holy Spirit, welcoming you into the family of God. Your identity is now rooted in being a cherished child of the Living God, a status granted through faith.
“I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” - 2 Corinthians 6:18 (NIV)
“So in Christ Jesus, you are all children of God through faith.” - Galatians 3:26 (NIV)
Jesus has graciously promised to grant you the fellowship of Holy Spirit, and He will abide with you for eternity. His divine presence will illuminate the Greatest Love Story of all time and reveal the depths of Christ Jesus. Through His divine inspiration, the Scriptures will come alive, revealing profound truths, and guiding you on your spiritual journey. (John 14:16-18; Heb 13:5b)
“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.” - John 16:13
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” - John 14:26
Jesus has forgiven you of every wrong you’ve done. He washed you with His blood shed on His cross. You are transformed into a new creation. I can’t better say it than this verse –
“Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life burgeons! Look at it! All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and Him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other. God put the world square with Himself through the Messiah, giving the world a fresh start by offering forgiveness of sins.” - 2 Cor 5:17-18 MSG -
The most beautiful verse in the Bible to me is -
“Christ never sinned but God put (my sin) on Him… we are made right with God because of what Christ has done for us. He (Father God) made Christ who knew no sin to ... be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God … (acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him) by His gracious lovingkindness.
- 2 Cor 5:21 AMP (*emphasis added)
“Now, because of this, those who belong to Christ will not suffer the punishment of sin. The power of the Holy Spirit has made me free from the power of sin and death. This power is mine because I belong to Christ Jesus.”
- Romans 8:1-2 NLT
“… you were not bought and made free from sin by paying gold or silver which comes to an end… The blood of Christ saved you. This blood is of great worth, and no amount of money can buy it. Christ was given as a lamb without sin and without spot.” - 1 Peter 1:18-19 NLT
On the journey of life, its important to make a few changes in your life. These are essential for the rest of your life.
Welcome to a new chapter in your life with Jesus. This site was designed with you in mind, and you've made the greatest and most important decision of your life.
Hey, God loves you! He is overjoyed that you've come home! Nothing is as precious as your soul to Him—yes, YOUR soul. You matter to Him. He gave His only Son to die for you and me, allowing us forgiveness and a living relationship with Him.
Get a Bible and read as much as you can daily. I suggest starting with the New Testament. You’ll learn who God is and therein find the blueprint for your life. “Soaking” yourself in the Word of God is like being planted next to a river, it nourishes your soul and helps you grow spiritually, and you will bear the fruit that pleases God. Reading the Bible is like looking into a mirror; it reflects things that do and don’t please God. Over time you'll find that you start changing for the better. The peace that comes with the change is more than you can imagine. Don’t try to change yourself, let God help you with this.
See what Paul says in the book of Romans.
“Christian brothers, I ask you from my heart to give your bodies to God because of His loving-kindness to us. Let your bodies be a living and holy gift given to God. He is pleased with this kind of gift. This is the true worship that you should give Him. Do not act like the sinful people of the world. Let God change your life. First of all, let Him give you a new mind. Then you will know what God wants you to do. And the things you do will be good and pleasing and perfect.” - Romans 8:1-2 NLT
Join a Bible-based and Spirit-filled church. One that believes that God is the Father, places Jesus Christ at the core of their teaching and practices and acknowledges the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Develop the habit of speaking to God as you would a close friend, yet with utmost respect. Being a Christian isn’t about religious rituals, it’s about having a living relationship with Him. Acknowledge His presence in your life, thank and talk to Him throughout the day.
The Bibly says that a wise man seeks guidance from a wise and mature mentor (Prov 12:15). It will benefit you if you seek someone whose life reflects the transformative influence of a close relationship with Christ Jesus.
Great influence, if not the greatest - is our friends. It’s necessary to avoid what may lead you back to past habits. Walk away from friendships that do not glorify Jesus. Yet, doing life alone is not wholesome, and being a Christian is no different. Ask God to bring people into your life who will help you grow closer to Him.
In closing, life with Christ is the most beautiful journey, adventure. Enjoy your new life!!!
